Friday at Koala class 🫶❤️

We had our gym lesson today and practiced Mae Mawari (forward roll) for the first time. With the support and guidance of the teacher, the children confidently gave it a try and did a wonderful job. We are so proud of their courage and enthusiasm!

We had our writing lesson today. The children practiced writing the letter “Ii” and also worked on zigzag lines to help develop their pencil control and fine motor skills. Everyone tried their best and did a great job!

Cheerful Thursday at Koala class 🥳🥰

Today we had a wonderful singing lesson! We learned some new songs, and everyone was excited to join in. The children happily sang along, followed the gestures, and even did some cute little dances. It was such a joy to see their smiles, enthusiasm, and confidence as they enjoyed the music together. We are so proud of how well they participated!

In the classroom, we watched videos from the Cheryl Porter Vocal Coach YouTube channel to explore different sounds and music. The children had fun listening to the various vocal sounds and eagerly joined in by copying some of the sounds. It was an engaging and enjoyable activity that encouraged active listening and participation.

Rainy Friday at Koala class ☔️

Today we had our gym lesson. Mori Sensei said that the Koala Class is improving and that everyone is doing a great job. We practiced tetsubo (horizontal bar exercises) and jumping activities. The children listened well, tried their best, and showed good effort throughout the lesson. We are proud of how much they are improving each week! 😊

In our Japanese lesson, we learned about opposite words. It was a little difficult, but some of the children were very good at identifying them. After that, we practiced the hiragana letter 「つ」. It is still challenging for some children, but it was a great opportunity to practice writing and recognizing hiragana. 🤩

Friday at Koala class ❤️🫶

Today we had our dental checkup. Everyone was so brave and didn’t cry at all. We are very proud of them! Afterward, they excitedly talked about the medicine they received and their favorite flavors. 🦷✨😊

We drew bamboo tree on our sketch book for our Tanabata craft 🎋

We even practiced drawing waves. It was a little difficult for them to understand the wave shape and follow the lines, but it was great practice for improving their pencil control and concentration.

Rainy Tuesday at Koala class ☔️

Today we played with newspapers and enjoyed two fun games. In the first game, the children had to keep a newspaper on their body and run without touching it. The winner was the one who reached the finish line without letting the newspaper fall or touching it.

At first, it was a little difficult for the children, but once they understood the instructions properly, some of them did a great job and completed the challenge successfully ✅

The second game was played in pairs with a newspaper placed between the two children. The teacher gave different instructions, such as “clap,” where the children had to clap their hands, and “boom,” where they had to tap the floor. When the teacher said “paper,” the children had to quickly grab the newspaper with their feet before their partner could. This game was a lot of fun and helped the children practice listening carefully, reacting quickly, and improving their coordination. 🫶

Toji and Matthew were the champions of the game. Each of them paused to celebrate their victory, looking very happy and proud of themselves 👏🏻❤️

The most awaited “Bento Day 🍱”

The kids were so excited for Bento Day! They could hardly wait until lunchtime and spent the whole morning talking about what was inside their bentos, what they wanted to eat first, and how their moms had made them. Their excitement and happy chatter made the day even more special.

Thank you so much parents for the yummiest bento 🥳🫶
